Dr. John Yu is committed to providing exceptional care in cosmetic, implant, and family dentistry. Known for his personalized approach and meticulous attention to detail, Dr. Yu treats every patient like family, helping them achieve healthy, beautiful smiles.

A proud graduate of the University of Washington, Dr. Yu earned his Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry in 2003 and his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2007. Since then, he has pursued extensive continuing education, specializing in smile design, CAD/CAM dentistry, full-mouth reconstruction, dental implants, 3D integration, and sleep apnea treatment. His dedication to staying at the forefront of dental advancements is reflected in his active memberships with esteemed organizations like the Academy of General Dentistry, American Dental Association, Arizona Dental Association, Southern Arizona Dental Society, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, International Congress of Oral Implantologists, and Spear Study Club.

Dr. Yu builds strong, trusting relationships with his patients by taking the time to understand their unique needs. His practice blends innovative technology, progressive methods, and a gentle touch to deliver results that marry clinical excellence with artistic precision.

When he’s not creating smiles, Dr. Yu enjoys spending quality time with his wife, Jane, and their four children—Elijah, Elora, Josiah, and Isaiah.

Dr. Jana Long brings nearly two decades of experience and a passion for patient-centered care to SmileMore Dental. Her journey in dentistry began early, inspired by summers spent working in a family friend’s dental office in her home state of Washington.

After earning honors in Dental Hygiene from Eastern Washington University, Dr. Long pursued her dream of becoming a dentist, graduating with distinction from the Oregon Health & Science University. Her career includes 18 successful years in private practice in Northern Arizona, where she developed a reputation for her compassionate approach and dedication to patient well-being.

Dr. Long’s philosophy of care emphasizes treating each patient with empathy, respect, and a commitment to delivering comprehensive solutions tailored to individual needs. She believes the most rewarding aspect of dentistry is helping patients achieve optimal oral health while creating confident smiles.

Outside the office, Dr. Long is an outdoor enthusiast who enjoys hiking, kayaking, and practicing yoga. She also has a love for ocean-side escapes, cooking, and curling up with a good book, reflecting her vibrant and balanced approach to life.
