John Yu, DDS
Dr. John Yu practices comprehensive cosmetic, implant, and family dentistry. He takes pride in treating his patients like his own family, keeping their smiles healthy and beautiful. The level of personalized care and attention to detail that Dr. Yu provides is truly exceptional.
Dr. Yu graduated from the University of Washington in Seattle, where he obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry in 2003 and then his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2007. Since graduation, he has devoted extensive hours to continuing education, and his interests include smile design, CAD/CAM dentistry, full-mouth reconstruction, implants, 3D integration, and sleep apnea. Dr. Yu is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, American Dental Association, Arizona Dental Association, Southern Arizona Dental Society, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, International Congress of Oral Implantologists, and Spear Study Club.
By getting to know his patients one on one, he forms trusting relationships built on respect and understanding. In addition, he enjoys developing personalized treatment plans best suited for each patient. Utilizing progressive methods, cutting-edge technology, and a gentle approach, Dr. Yu combines the perfect blend of aesthetic artistry and clinical excellence. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Yu enjoys spending time with the love of his life, Jane, and their four children: Elijah, Elora, Josiah, and Isaiah.
Jana Long, DMD
Dr. Jana Long is a dedicated member of the SmileMore Dental team, bringing a wealth of experience and a passion for patient care to our practice. Born and raised in the captivating landscapes of Washington state, her journey in dentistry began during her formative years, as she spent summers working in a family friend’s dental office.
Driven by her love for dentistry, Dr. Long graduated with honors in Dental Hygiene from Eastern Washington University. This began her commitment to improving oral health and nurturing patient connections. Her journey continued as she pursued her dream of becoming a dentist, achieving honors upon graduating from the Oregon Health Science University.
With an illustrious 18-year private practice tenure in Northern Arizona, Dr. Long has honed her skills and deepened her dedication to patient well-being. Her true reward lies in delivering comprehensive and compassionate care, always placing the patient’s best interests at the forefront.
Beyond her professional pursuits, Dr. Long finds solace in the great outdoors. She embraces an active lifestyle, whether hiking, kayaking, or practicing yoga. Her love for ocean-side getaways, cooking, and reading reflects her vibrant and multifaceted personality.
